What do you get when legendary musicians Taj Mahal and Keb’ Mo’ team up for an album and a tour? We’re not sure, but we’re about to find out.
The two are set to kick off the fall season at the Walton Arts Center with a performance on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
The iconic musicians are calling their collaboration TajMo. They released a full length album by the same name earlier this year, and will kick off an extensive fall tour this August.
Together, their music has been describe as “firmly rooted in tradition yet ruled by a playful sense of adventure.” The artists have known each other for decades, but the new project is the first time they’ve teamed up in the studio.
Tickets to the show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 31, and are priced at $38. Special guests Black Pacific will kick off the evening.
