The 9th annual Putt for Paws mini golf tournament is set for Saturday, Aug. 19 at Gator Golf in Fayetteville, and will raise funds for the Humane Society of the Ozarks.

The entry fee is $25, and includes a round of mini-golf, a t-shirt, and a buffet-style lunch at Foghorn’s. Two person team entires are also available for $50, and Humane Society Members get $5 off their entry fee. Sponsorships are also available for businesses for $150.

The golf tourney will begin at 9 a.m., followed by lunch at Foghorn’s beginning at 11 a.m. Live music will be provided by The Pool Boys at that time, and raffle drawings will take place at noon. Several adoptable animals will also be on hand for folks to meet.

A free shuttle service from the midtown Foghorn’s location (1815 Green Acres Rd.) will be provided to and from Gator Golf. Parking will be availabe at the restaurant, on Green Acres Road, as well as at the former AQ Chicken location on College Avenue.

The event has grown to become big deal for the Humane Society over the years, raising over $80,000 for the organization since it began in 2008.

All of the proceeds from the event go directly to the Humane Society of the Ozarks, as any expenses not covered through donations are paid by Foghorn’s directly.
