Initial lineup announced for 2017 AMP Fest beer, music, tech event

 

David Shaw and Zack Feinberg (of The Revivalists) will co-headline the 2017 AMP Fest, a beer, music and tech festival scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Walmart AMP.

The event, which supports the Walton Arts Center’s arts education programs, includes games, technology booths, live music, and craft beer.

Other acts scheduled to perform include Adam Faucett, Opal Agafia and the Sweet Nothings, Goose, Will Brand, Vulpî, DJ Abboriginal and AttA.

Walton Arts Center officials said more artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

Ticket prices are $45 and include a glass for beer sampling and access to all booths. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Walmart AMP box office in Rogers, at the Walton Arts Center box office in Fayetteville, by telephone at 479-443-5600 or by visiting www.amptickets.com.

Officials said the 2016 AMP Fest event raised $83,000 to allow WAC to offer low-cost or no-cost educational programs to area students, teachers, families and others.
