The Fayetteville Flyer is coming up on it’s tenth anniversary this winter, and we’ve developed a pretty simple ecosystem over that time that keeps the site running smoothly.

Each week, we write stories about this beautiful place we all live in, some incredible local businesses have stepped up to help support that content we create, and our awesome community of readers and commenters show up every day to read that content and to support the local places that help keep the Flyer flying. It’s kind of amazing.

The latest business to decide that Flyer readers are exactly the type of folks they’d like to do business with is Premier Dermatology, the company that got its start in Bentonville and expanded to open their first Fayetteville clinic recently.

Premier Dermatology was founded in 2004 by doctor Missy Clifton. Since then, the company has grown to operate three locations in Bentonville, Bella Vista, and Fayetteville that employ more than 70 people in Northwest Arkansas.

From the doctors all the way down to the administrative staff, the company’s primary focus is always on their patients and their overall skin health. They can treat conditions of all kinds, from acne, warts, and eczema to more complicated skin issues such as psoriasis, skin cancer, and melanoma.

They are also proud to offer Mohns micrographic surgery techniques that allow them to treat skin cancer patients in a way that allows for a minimum amount of skin to be removed, minimal scarring, and a 98% cure rate.

The company in 2008 expanded to create a new division for cosmetic dermatology including injectable treatments such as Botox and Juvederm, along with laser hair reduction, skin resurfacing, chemical peels, and facials. They now offer procedures for “all things skin,” including wrinkle/volume correction, facial contouring, fat reduction/body contouring, and more.

Premier’s spa division offers massage therapy, HydraFacial MD services, Microneedling, and other services, and they are consistently named the best Spa in Northwest Arkansas in local reader polls.

They are highly trained with Allergn, and ranked in the top 50 clinics nationally for facial asthetics. Dr. Clifton is currently national trainer for Allergan, Inc. which allows her to speak and educate other physicians/practices at the national level. In fact, Dr. Clifton and her partner, Dr. Kattie Allen have made it a focus to remain on the cutting edge for new procedures and best practices and practices nationally.

The clinic is currently working to expand their treatment options in Fayetteville, and they’re building new spa rooms an space designed to help address the cosmetic dermatology needs of men in the region.
