SoNA to perform with Elephant Revival at Fayetteville Roots Festival

It seems like the folks behind the Fayetteville Roots Festival always have a few surprises up their sleeves in the weeks leading up to the festival.

The latest came yesterday, when they announced that members of local orchestra SoNA will perform alongside headliner Elephant Revival at this year’s event.

The band and an 8-piece orchestral ensemble made up of members of SoNA will perform together on main stage of the event at around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26.

It isn’t the first time SoNA has performed with a touring musician at Fayetteville Roots Festival. Members of the orchestra last year played along side Gregory Alan Isakov, who had recently released a live album with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.

Elephant Revival has also performed with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, so they’re no strangers to that kind of thing either.

The Fayetteville Roots Festival is set for Aug. 23-27 at various locations around Fayetteville.
