Want to walk around tasting some good food for a great cause next month?
You’ll get a chance at the annual Savor the Flavor event, set for 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5 in downtown Fayetteville.
The event is a walking tasting tour of several restaurants in the Dickson Street area. There are 10 restaurants in the lineup this year, including Bordinos, Farrell’s Lounge, Flying Burrito Co, JJ’s Grill, Rolando’s, and several others.
Tickets to the event are $45 per person, and proceeds benefit Faith in Action, and organization that provides free non-medical services to homebound seniors. Since the event began 14 years ago, Savor the Flavor has raised over $750,000 for the cause.
There’s also a Bentonville event planned for Thursday, Sept. 28 this year.
