Single tickets are now on sale for the Faulkner Performing Arts Center’s 2017-18 season line-up, which kicks off Sept. 8 with the Singing Men of Arkansas.

Now in their tenth year, the group will perform Sing America!, a musical history of American music that includes barbershop, African-American spirituals and Broadway songs.

Up next is a partnership with the King Fahd Center for Middle East Studies on Thursday, Nov. 9, with Jordan’s “musical ambassadress,” Farah Siraj. The University of Arkansas Children’s Choir will be accompanying Siraj on select pieces.

Other events this season include concerts by Still on the Hill, The Ozark Highballers and The SteelDrivers, a holiday extravaganza, and a one-man multimedia show celebrating iconic folk singer Woody Guthrie.

The 40,000-square-foot Faulkner Performing Arts Center includes seating for 587 people, and a stage that can accommodate as many as 250 performers. The center is the main performance venue for the university’s J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences Department of Music and hosts guest musical activities for the university and Northwest Arkansas community.
