Startup Crawl to highlight up-and-coming local businesses Sept. 29

Wanna walk around drinking local beers and meeting some entrepreneurs from several of Fayetteville’s up-and-coming new businesses?

You’ll get your chance at a “startup crawl” scheduled for Sept. 29 in downtown Fayetteville.

The event, organized by Startup Junkie and Community Venture Foundation, will kick off at 4 p.m. at the Arkansas Research & Technology Park, 535 W Research Center Blvd, where attendees can pick up a map, check out some live music, and tour a handful of innovative businesses at the park.

From there, the event will migrate to the Fayetteville square for a self-guided tour with eight stops featuring over 40 businesses, dinner at food trucks, and beer from each of the area’s local breweries.

The event will include pop-up speakers giving talks on startups, technology, and innovation throughout, as well as live music performances from Handmade Moments, Toxic Rhythms, National Park Radio and Dial-up.

Confirmed breweries include Bentonville Brewing, Bike Rack, Apple Blossom, Saddlebock, Columbus House, Ozark, West Mountain, Fossil Cove, Core, New Province, JBGB, and Black Apple Crossing cidery.

Admission is free, but a $10 advance all-access ticket will include a souvenir beer cup with access to free beer at every stop and “premium views” of the live music.
