We’ve got good news for pizza lovers in north Fayetteville. Wood Stone Craft Pizza is opening a second location in uptown.

Restaurant owners Jerrmy Gawthrop and Clayton Suttle recently told us that they have leased the old Tilted Kilt building, located at 3619 Mall Ave., and are renovating the building for the new location.

For those who aren’t familiar, Wood Stone specializes in wood-fired pizzas, craft cocktails, and craft beers. The restaurant is known for their unique toppings and crispy wood-fired crust, with pizzas like the K-BBQ topped with Korean BBQ Sauce, roasted pork, pickled carrot & cucumber, chili nayo, and cilantro, or the T.H.I.S.S.S., (Tangy, Herby, Infused, Spicy, Salty & Sweet), topped with fruit marmalade, goat cheese, olive oil, prosciutto, parmesan cheese, balsamic reduction, and arugula.

Wood Stone also has a large selection of local and regional craft brews, and a creative cocktail menu featuring signature, seasonal, and classic mixed drinks.

The restaurant originally opened in south Fayetteville next to Greenhouse Grille in August 2014.

If all goes well, the new location will be open in late fall or early winter.
