You may notice a slight uptick in motorcycle traffic in Fayetteville this weekend. That’s due to a little gathering called Bikes, Blues & BBQ happening in town over the next few days. You might have heard of it.

The event’s barbecue competition is Friday night at the Washington County Fairgrounds. It starts at 6 p.m., and $10 will you a plate of some of the best barbecue in the region to sample and vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice competition.

Mainstage music headliners on Dickson Street at Bikes, Blues & BBQ Friday night include 80s tribute band Hot Lix at 8:30 p.m., and rockabilly piano man, Jason D. Williams at around 10:30 p.m.

There’s also music at George’s, with Oreo Blue, Mountain Sprout, Groovement, Vintage Pistol, and others.

In non-Bikes, Blues & BBQ music, locals Handmade Moments will be at Stage 18. There’s tons more below. Click around down there for details.
