The folks at Uptown Apartments + Shops have created a pretty sweet collection of public art, and they’re ready to show it off this weekend.

The first ever Uptown Art Crawl is set for 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1 on the Uptown grounds (3959 N. Steele Blvd).

The event will feature a tour of the murals by artists Olivia Trimble, Steve Adair, and Lee Porter on the grounds of the development, and the unveiling of the new Sound Swings created for the property by installation artist Craig Colorusso. Each of the artists are expected to be on hand to discuss their work.

In addition, Bike Fayetteville will be giving a bike tour of the neighborhood, with a ride through the artwork as well.

Treats will be provided by Burton’s Creamery, and Puritan Coffee & Beer.

The event is free to attend, and open to the public. For a bit more information, check out the Facebook page for the event.
