The Fayetteville Police Department will host the second annual Cops and Coats for Kids event from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15 at the Walmart store located at 3919 N. Mall Ave.
Local businesses and residents are asked to donate child-sized coats, hats and gloves for those in need.

All donations will be given to local children through the Boys and Girls Club, Fayetteville Public Schools and the Department of Human Services.
For those who cannot make it to the event, clothing can be dropped off at either the department headquarters at 100 W. Rock Street, or Elite Cleaners at 81 S. Church Street.
