We did it. Happy Friday, everyone.

Walton Arts Center has their first Broadway show of the year playing this weekend with the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic, The King and I. Our reviewer enjoyed the show. Have you seen it yet?

Get thirsty, wine lovers. The annual Winetopia fundraiser for Restore Humanity is Friday night at Pratt Place Inn & Barn. The event typically sells out, but it looks like the may be some tickets left as of this afternoon. Here’s where to get them.

UA Theatre is performing their version of the Tennessee Williams classic play, The Glass Menagerie this weekend. Tickets are available here.

Music-wise, there’s a big show at George’s with locals Irie Lions, Cadillac Jackson, and Austin one-man-band, Henry + The Invisibles.

There’s a lot more below. Click around down there for details.

The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market will host their annual Fall Harvest Fest on Saturday morning. The event will feature cooking demos, activity booths, and more. Here’s a bit more information.

Hope you’ve been practicing mini-golf. The annual Golftoberfest putt-putt tourney, benefitting Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA, is Saturday morning at Gator Golf. Here’s a bit more info.

Remember the Downtown Runaround we told you about not too long ago? The 5k and 10k run benefitting the Jones Center? Well, it’s happening on Saturday, too. Good luck, runners.

There’s a cool-sounding performance at the Walmart AMP on Saturday, when SoNA will be live-scoring Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone beginning at around 7 p.m.

Music-wise, there are some sweet shows in town. Songwriter David Ramirez is at Stage 18, high-energy band Count Tutu is at Smoke & Barrel, space-rockers Papadosio are at George’s with electonic act Phutureprimitive, and songwriter/one-woman band Tiffany Christopher is back in town for a show at Southern Food Company.
