Halloween may be on Tuesday, but the partying is already well underway in Fayetteville this year.

One of the biggest parties of the year is Friday night, when local DJ/party-thrower/boom operator Beat Bachs (a.k.a. Bo Counts) will host his annual Halloween Dance Party at Hog Haus. For those who’ve never been to one of these, it is definitely something to see. He goes all out.

Walton Arts Center has a couple shows on Friday night, with kid-hop band Secret Agent 23 Skidoo in their Starr Theatre, and Decades Rewind in their main hall. Ticket info is here.

TheatreSquared’s new show The Champion continues this weekend as well at Nadine Baum Studios. Here’s the schedule of performances.

Music-wise, local songwriter Randall Shreve is at Stage 18, and Conway rockers American Lions are back in town for a show at Smoke & Barrel Tavern.

Food trucks. Local artists and crafters. Live music. All of these things will be available at the Quicktown Revival, the grand-opening celebration of the new Quicktown collective of local businesses located across from Neighborhood Market on S. Government Avenue in Fayetteville. Here’s more info about the party.

Backspace is hosting their third annual Halloween art/music show, and fundraiser for the venue on Saturday. It’s called Grotesque: The Trilogy, and will feature small works of Halloween-themed art by local artists, music, and more. It’s $5, and proceeds benefit the DIY venue.

Also in Halloween-related fun, Crystal Bridges huge party, Artinfusion: Halloween in the Hollow is Saturday night at the museum. There’s a dance party, fortune tellers, go-go dancers, photo booth, and lots more fun stuff planned. They go all out. Here’s more info.

Music-wise, there’s a big show at George’s with Andy Frasco, Goose, and Vintage Pistol, and local favorites Handmade Moments will be at Smoke & Barrel Tavern.
