If you thought the Walton Arts Center was finished announcing shows for the 2017-18 season, you were wrong, buddy.

The arts center recently added two more shows, including Mythbusters’ vet Adam Savage and Michael Stevens new show, Brain Candy Live! on May 1, and songwriter Martin Sexton on April 4.

Brain Candy has been described as a cross between a TED Talk and The Blue Man Group, and features Savage and Stevens doing live science experiments on stage with their “crazy toys, incredible tools.”

Martin Sexton will be touring in support of his ninth studio album, Mixtape of the Open Road this spring. His songs have appeared in a host of television shows, including Scrubs, Parenthood, and Masters of Sex, along with several films. His appearance at the WAC is part of their West Street Live series of shows featuring great songwriters in their newly remodeled Starr Theatre.

Tickets to Brain Candy Live! are $48, and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3.

Tickets to Martin Sexton are $20, and are on sale now.
