Classical music. It’s not just for large theaters and concert halls anymore.

These days, thanks to the locals behind the Trillium Salon Series, some of the worlds finest music can be enjoyed in much more intimate settings.

The concert series, which features classical music and more in unexpected venue such as living rooms and other small spaces, continues on Thursday, Nov. 2 with a performance titled Cello & Piano Duo + Poetry at 21 W. Mountain Street, in the space formerly home to Path Outfitters. The event will feature music by cellist Christian Davis Serrano-Torres and pianist Sophia-Odelia Bauer, and poetry by Michele Battiste, Sommer Browning, Leslie Anne Mcilroy, & Soraya Shalforoosh.

In addition to the performances, the event will include snacks by Ozark Natural Foods and some locally-brewed beers.

The show starts at 8 p.m., and is free to attend, although cash donations for the performers are recommended.
