The Arkansas men’s basketball team will host their final tune up of the year before the regular season when they tip off an exhibition game with Missouri Western Friday night at Bud Walton Arena. The game starts at 7 p.m.

A new one-man play opens this weekend in an intimate setting. Samuel Beckett’s Krapp’s Last Tape, featuring local actor Bill Rogers and produced by Block Street Theatre Co., is playing through the weekend at The Nines. Here’s our preview of the show.

It’s also the final weekend to see TheatreSquared’s version of The Champion at Nadine Baum Studios. Here’s a schedule of this weekend’s performances.

Music-wise, Memphis rockers Lucero will perform the second night of their two-night stand at George’s Friday night. Ohio band Two Cow Garage will open the show. Here’s ticket info.

The Razorback football team will take on the fighting Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina at 3 p.m. at Razorback Stadium. It’s gonna be a beautiful day for a tailgate.

There’s a big comedy show at Backspace Saturday night. Local comic Colin Nelson will perform, and he’ll be recording a live album of his jokes that evening as well. Read our interview with him here. Comedians Ray Porter, Kaia Hodo and Zac Slusher are also on the bill.

Music-wise, Nomad’s has a show with Foggy Bobcat and Terra Nova Kings, and there’s a dance party at Smoke & Barrel with DJ SYCA.
