The annual Lights of the Ozarks holiday display is scheduled to kick off with a lighting ceremony and parade at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17 on the Fayetteville downtown square.

As always, the event includes holiday-themed parade floats created by local businesses and organizations. The parade travels east along Mountain Street from the Fayetteville Public Library to the square, and then heads down Block Avenue and Dickson Street before circling back around.

In addition to the over 400,000 LED lights in the display, the six-week celebration also includes nightly carriage rides, camel and pony rides, hot chocolate and coffee vendors, and other activities. The display will remain lit nightly through Dec. 31.
