Weekend Flyer: Last Saturday, Tom Petty Tribute, and more

Friday, Nov. 24

The Razorback football team takes on Missouri on Friday, in what will be the final game of a pretty rough season, and likely, the final game of the Bielema era at Arkansas. It’s senior day at Razorback Stadium, so it’ll also be the final game for Austin Allen, De’Andre Coley, Henre Tolliver, Dwayne Eugene, Josh Liddell, Bijhon Jackson, and several others. Thanks for the memories, dudes.

Also in sports, the Razorback basketball team will play against defending national champions North Carolina in the prestigious PK80 Tournament in Portland Oregon. Tipoff is at 2:30 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN.

Music-wise, George’s has a happy hour show with Isayah’s All Starts and Brick Fields at 6 p.m., and locals Boom Kinetic and Move Orchestra will play the late night show.

It’s the last Saturday of the month, and that means it’s time for a variety show at American Legion. This month’s show features music by Willi Carlisle and Jesse Dean, comedy by Laura Weiderhaft, and more. The show begins at 7 p.m.

Also Friday night, Trike Theatre will perform their version of Charlotte’s Web at Walton Arts Center. Here’s ticket info.
