The Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center on the University of Arkansas campus will screen the holiday film “Elf,” starring Will Ferrell and James Caan, from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9.
The free, family-friendly event also serves as a canned food drive benefiting the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable canned goods, and come dressed as their favorite holiday characters to enjoy the movie.
Guests should also expect live music, magic and crafts, and an opportunity to design blank pizza boxes to use at Marco’s Pizza.
The event is part of the Faulkner center’s 2017-18 “FPAC Presents Series,” which includes Still on the Hill and The Ozark Highballers on Jan. 19, The SteelDrivers on March 3, and Hard Travelin’ with Woody on May 5.
