Fossil Cove Brewing will celebrate the release of this year’s Coffee IPA with an Ugly Sweater Party Friday night. The event will feature live music from Isayah Warford (Isayah’s Allstars), and other festivities. Here’s more info.
Experimental theatre company Artist’s Laboratory Theatre has a new show that sounds super interesting. The show is called Ride, and takes on the subject of Public Transit. The show is accessible on a “pay what you can” basis. Here’s more info.

Opal Agafia & The Sweet Nothings
There are a couple chances to check out some sweet local art on Saturday. The artists from Fenix Fayetteville have a small works holiday show on display at Stage 18 on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Local Color Studio Gallery has a show featuring work by artists Alex Cogbill, Nathan Porterfield, and Paul Siebenthal. An artist reception for the new show is planned at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Arkansas’ basketball team has their biggest test of the home non-conference schedule on Saturday. The Hogs take on the 12th ranked Golden Gophers of Minnesota at 5:45 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena. It’ll be crazy in there.
Music-wise, George’s has a show with Opal Agafia & The Sweet Nothings, Chucky Waggs, and The Kay Brothers Saturday night. Tickets are $7 at the door.
