Residents are invited to weigh in on the design of a planned expansion of the Fayetteville Public Library.

A public input session is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11 in the library’s Walker Room. A team from Minneapolis-based design firm Meyer, Scherer and Rockcastle will present several design concepts for the expansion and gather feedback from the public.

The 80,000-square-foot expansion was approved by voters in 2016 as part of a millage increase that is expected to net about $26.5 million to put toward the $49 million expansion of the library that will nearly double the size of the facility.
