Recycling, trash, and yard waste collection routes are on a one-day delay for the holiday season in Fayetteville.
Residents whose collection occurs on Monday will be serviced on Tuesday, and so on.

Expect delays from Dec. 25 through Jan. 5.
Also, residents with curbside service are allowed to place up to four extra bags of trash next to their bins each year. It’s a program that is available year-round but can be particularly helpful during the holiday season. After all four free extra bag pickups are used, households will be charged $6.20 per extra bag. Note: This is just for extra bags that do not fit into the regular bin.
