The holidays are officially coming to a close, and as that happens, so too is TheatreSquared’s run on their classic show, It’s a Wonderful Life. There are still a few chances to catch the show this weekend, though. Here’s the schedule.

Every time local legends The Cate Brothers get together these days, it is an event not to be missed. The band are back on the main stage at George’s for a happy hour show on Friday night. The show starts at 6 p.m.

The Razorback Men’s Basketball team has one of their biggest tests of the year so far on Saturday at Bud Walton Arena. The Hogs take on the 19th ranked Tennessee Volunteers in their SEC opener. The game’s totally sold out. Here’s our preview of the game.

Music-wise, local all-stars the Matt Smith Group are back together for a show at Smoke & Barrel Tavern Saturday night.

Also, there’s a benefit/food drive/hiphop show at Backspace called Rap for Food. The lineup includes Thunderman, I Am, Divine Lowlife, Voodoo Child, and Massa Mella. All the food collected will be given to Bread Of Life, Salvation Army, and 7 Hills Homeless Center.
