The city’s Parks and Recreation Department will host a public input session about girls fastpitch softball from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 in the multipurpose room at the Yvonne Richardson Community Center, 240 E. Rock Street.

Parks staff hope residents can attend the entire session, but people are welcome to drop in at any time during the event.

The focus of the session is to learn more about the priorities of Northwest Arkansas residents interested in youth softball, according to a news release. Parks staff are interested in hearing feedback about overall league policies, program division between competitive and recreation leagues, uniforms, league rules, and league schedule.

Comments given will help guide the planning and implementation of the upcoming youth softball program and future seasons.

For those who cannot attend the meeting, feedback can also be given through a brief online survey at surveymonkey.com/r/2018youthfastpitch.
