A new podcast promises a weekly series of some of the more chilling tales and legends of Eureka Springs.

The new show, called Ozark Whispers, follows journalist Vincent Vangetti, a reporter for the Lovely County Record. By day he’s a newspaper reporter, but by night he’s a paranormal investigator.

From a news release:

Each Saturday, Vincent brings listeners a new tale based on the many cases he’s investigated throughout town. The town’s barber is a werewolf, a cursed muffin floats around from restaurant to restaurant, and the number of ghosts in town seems to rise every year. There’s always something weird going on in Eureka, and Vincent delivers a taste of that every weekend.

“Arkansas has always been home to some great stories from True Grit to A Painted House, and now The Natural State has a podcast to call its own set in the mysterious mountain village of Eureka Springs” said Vangetti. “Eureka is really a uniquely haunted place. I mean, how many thousands of people visit each year just to stay in the infamous Crescent Hotel?”

The podcast can be found on both SoundCloud and iTunes. Vangetti also maintains a blog at OzarkWhispers.com.
