Another country music star has been added to the summer lineup at the AMP.
The venue last week announced that New Zealand Australian Keith Urban is coming to town for a show on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
With 23 No. 1 hits and counting, Urban is about as famous as it gets in the country music world. He is set to release his ninth studio album, titled Graffiti U, later this year.
“I’ve been full-on writing, recording, collaborating and creating with some incredibly talented people for Graffiti U, a lot of whom I’ve never worked with before,” Urban said in a news release about the new record. “I can hear how some of the songs will translate live already, which really makes putting on a new show so exhilarating.”
Urban will be joined by special guest Lindsay Ell.
Tickets to the show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23.
