Fayetteville Student Mountain Biking will host an information session at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20 at the Fayetteville Public Library for anyone interested in volunteering to help build a mountain biking team made up of students from Fayetteville Public Schools, which is part of the state’s National Interscholastic Cycling Association League.

Information about the process, time commitments and expectations will be available for those who’d like to become a coach or support the team in another capacity.

From the event:

With trails like Lake Fayetteville, Gregory Park, Mount Kessler and Mount Sequoyah we have plenty of places to practice. Now, we just need leaders from the community to come ride bikes with some really awesome students!

The event will take place in the Walker Community Room on the main level of the library. Light snacks and water will be provided.
