Drivers near downtown Fayetteville should expect a street closure for about a month on East Dickson Street while crews work to complete a sidewalk repair project.
The work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, March 27, and includes replacement of a deteriorated sidewalk along the north side of East Dickson between Washington Avenue and Willow Avenue.
Lane closures will typically occur from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to city officials. Detour routes will be marked and residents will be allowed access during work hours. The street will be reopened to full traffic nights and weekends.
