The UA’s annual Springtime of Youth music festival just announced its initial lineup.
The University of Arkansas Headliners Committee today announced that Swedish electronic band Galantis, indie pop band Bleachers, and rapper Lil Dicky will headline the festival, set for Saturday, April 28 at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
Ville and local band, Elephantom were also announced as part of the bill.
The festival debuted in 2015 as an alternative to the committee’s typical semester concerts held at Barnhill Arena.The inaugural event took place over two consecutive days, but was converted to a single-day event in 2016.
Past performers include Big Sean, Young the Giant, Caitlyn Smith, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, Børns, Mutemath, Moxie Raia, MisterWives, and others.
Student tickets are free, and will be available to reserve beginning on April 7 here.
Once the students have reserved their tickets, some general admission tickets may become available. Information and on sale date for general admission tickets will be released at a later date. We’ll add that information here once it becomes available.
