Wanna race? The annual Cow Paddy Run benefitting the Fayetteville Public Education Foundation is set for Friday night at Gulley Park. There’s a 5k, a fun run, and more festivities. Here’s more info.

There’s lots of good music to check out this weekend. Well known songwriter Jason Mraz is in town for an acoustic performance at Walton Arts Center. Here’s ticket info.

Theatre-wise, there are still a few more chances to check out TheatreSquared’s latest hit, Vietgone. Here’s our recent review of the show.

George’s has a big country show with Sam Riggs, and guitar-slinging, mask-wearing, light-the-drums-on-fire, rock-on-top-of-the-bar band Daikaiju is at Smoke & Barrel.

Saturday, March 31

Fayetteville Farmers’ Market

It’s the opening weekend of the Farmers’ Market, which as far as we are concerned, should be a city-wide holiday. It’s also Easter weekend, so the market is planning some fun related activities like a scavenger/egg hunt. The old Easter Bunny will make an appearance as well. Here’s more info.

It’s also the last Saturday of the month, which means it’s time for Last Saturday variety show at American Legion. This month’s lineup will feature performances by Jr. Soapbox, Chase Missy, Jasper Logan, and Serpents of Eden.

George’s has a Grateful Dead tribute with supergroup, Friends of the Phamily on Friday night.

There’s a sweet local rock show at LaLaLand Gallery with White Mansion, Groaners and The Chads.

There’s a ton more below. Click around down there for details.
