‘Psychobilly’ trio Reverend Horton Heat has been a regular in Fayetteville over the years, and they’ll be back at George’s for a show on Friday night with actor/musician, Unknown Hinson. Tickets are $22-25 at George’s ticketing site.
The Walton Arts Center will host their annual VoiceJam competition this weekend, and Friday night a capella act VoicePlay will perform at the venue as part of the festival.
Want some sports? The Razorback baseball team is back in town after this week, and they’ve got a conference series versus Auburn this weekend. It’s gonna be a little chilly at Baum Stadium, but the Hogs need a good showing versus the Tigers, so grab your coat and a blanket or something, cause the Razorbacks need you.

The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market is back on the Fayetteville square! The market returned last week, and will be set up again this week from 7 a.m. until around 2 p.m. Get yourself some delicious locally-grown food.
A cappella acts from around the country will be battling to the death it out on Saturday night at the Walton Arts Center during their annual VoiceJam competition.
There’s a Lip Sync Battle happening Saturday night at Stage 18. Eight local celebrities will battle it out in the first ever “Mouthing Off Lip Sync Battle, including Troy Gittings, Jules Taylor, Dacre Whitaker, Kody Ford, Sunshine Broder, Raymond Burks, Leigh Wood & Emily Onemanband Smith. Tickets are $15, and proceeds benefit the NWA Creative Arts Network. Here’s more info.
The rock show of the weekend might be at Smoke & Barrel on Saturday night. Missouri band Me Like Bees is back in town for the first time in a while. They’re excellent. Listen for yourself.
How about a crawfish and craft beer event? The annual Ales & Tails festival is set for Saturday afternoon at Washington County Fairgrounds. It has moved indoors this year due to the cold weather that’s headed this way, so don’t worry about that. There are still tickets available here.
