Ever wish Goldie’s would bring their pickle/chips & salsa bar back to Fayetteville? That’s probably not going to happen, but it technically could now that their old building is available again.

That’s because Georgia-based chicken restaurant chain Zaxby’s closed their location at 3251 N. College Ave. over the weekend.

A note posted on the door of the restaurant announced the closure.

From the note:

As part of our development strategy, we have permanently closed this location. Our locations in Bentonville, Springdale, Siloam Springs, and on MLK in Fayetteville are still open for business.

We do have plans to reopen a second Fayetteville store, as well as additional stores in the NWA area.

The note also indicated that the entire staff of the College Avenue restaurant have been transferred to other locations.
