Apple Seeds Inc. just announced a delicious-sounding fundraiser.

The non-profit organization is planning a series of “Kitchen Table” events featuring local chefs preparing meals made from ingredients fresh from the Apple Seeds, Inc. gardens.

The series will begin with a meal prepared by chef Justus Moll of River Grille in Bentonville on April 28. A second event will feature chef Michael Robertshaw from Persephone on Wheels in Rogers.

The dinners will begin at 6 p.m. with a beer and wine cocktail hour where attendees will have the opportunity to help out in the kitchen, or mingle in the garden. The dinners will begin at 7 p.m., and only 30 guests will be served.

Tickets to the Kitchen Table Series are $75 per person, and proceeds from the event benefit Apple Seeds Inc. programming.

Apple Seeds Inc. is a local non-profit that seeks to inspire “healthy living through garden-based education” through outreach in local schools, as well as on their teaching farm located at Gulley Park.
