Flyer celebrates 10 years with poster and shirt series

Update: Online ordering of these items are now closed. We may offer any leftover items for sale with a local retailer. We’ll add that info here soon as soon as it becomes available.

Ten years ago this fall, we made the leap to leave our jobs at local ad agencies, and go all-in on a little side project we’d been working on called the Fayetteville Flyer.

We started the site in December 2007, and a year later we formed our parent company, Wonderstate Media, to turn our hobby into a business.

Thanks in large part to you guys’ support over the years, it was the best decision we ever made.

We’re celebrating a decade in business this year, and decided to commission a local artist to create a series of illustrations we could use to make posters and shirts that celebrate and highlight the real star of this show, the city of Fayetteville itself.

Local artist Chad Maupin from Big Bot Art Lab was enthusiastic about our idea, and recently completed the first illustration for the series featuring the castle at Wilson Park.

Posters and shirts are now available for pre-order. We hope to produce at least two more posters and shirts featuring some of our favorite places around town.

Deadline:

We’re placing the print order on Monday, April 30, so you’ll need to order by then.

Posters

The posters are roughly 11″ x 17″ and will be screen printed on French Paper Co. Kraft Tone Manilla Yellow paper. Price to order is $25 (plus $5 domestic shipping).
