Arkansas Brewgrass Festival set for Sunday, April 29

If you like brew (beer), grass (bluegrass music), and hanging out with lots of people (festivals), you’ll probably love the Arkansas Brewgrass Festival, set for Sunday, April 29 at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

The event, which got its start in Rogers in 2016 and moved to Fayetteville last year, is a family-friendly celebration of Arkansas-brewed beer and bluegrass music, featuring local and regional bands, breweries from around the state, along with kids activities, food trucks, and other attractions.

This year’s festival will feature music by East of Zion, Homeschool Dropouts, and Opal Agafia & The Sweet Nothings.

Arkansas breweries expected to attend include Lost Forty Brewing, Core, Apple Blossom Brewing Company, and Diamond Bear Brewing Company! Food will be provided by Wicked Wood Fired Pizza and Wooden Wagon Luncheonette.

There will also be bingo, with local celebrities Jason Suel and Bo Counts from local talk show, Later with Jason Suel, and Kyle Kellams and Antoinette Grajeda from Ozarks at Large servings as celebrity bingo callers.

The fun starts at 1 p.m., and runs until 7 p.m.
