This weekend in Fayetteville is for the dogs.

That’s because, in addition to the Dogwood Walk happening Saturday that we wrote about yesterday, it’s also time for the annual Dickson Street Pup Crawl.

The event, which is like a regular pup crawl, but with dogs, is set for Saturday, April 28 from 2-6 p.m.

A packet for participants will be available at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter (1640 S. Armstrong Ave.) before the event that includes shirts (for the people) bandanas (for the dogs), and information the event.

Participating locations include Grub’s, Something Urban, Dickson St. Pub, Infusion, Cork and Keg, Powerhouse Seafood, C-4 Lounge, The Amendment, and Marley’s Pizzeria.

Registration for the event is $39 (including fees), and includes the price of the t-shirt, bandana, and access to the drink specials for the day. Proceeds from the event benefit Fayetteville Animal Services.

To purchase tickets, or for more info, visit the Eventbrite page for the event.

Update: It looks like tickets to this year’s event are already sold out.
