Dog adoptions will be free at the Lib Horn Animal Shelter of Fayetteville on April 27, 28, and 30.
The shelter will soon renovate its adoptable dog room and needs to clear the area before the work begins.
The standard application process will still apply, and all applicants must first be approved before adopting a dog. All adopted dogs will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
Cat adoption fees are $20 and include the same services. Adoptable pets can be viewed at fayettevillear.animalshelternet.com.
The shelter is located at 1640 S. Armstrong Ave., and is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
