The first First Thursday of the season was supposed to happen tonight, but old mother nature had other ideas.

Outdoor festivities for tonight, including the live music, yoga, beer garden, etc., have been cancelled due to inclement weather.

Indoor activities at galleries around the square, however, will still be held as scheduled.

There’s a show featuring work by MFA students from the UA at Stage 18, Art Ventures (formerly Fayetteville Underground) has a show titled Under Pressure featuring work by Linda Vredeveld, Melissa Wilkinson, Rebecca LaTourette, Joëlle Storet, and Kai Drachenberg, and Fenix Fayetteville will celebrate the opening of their new space at 16 W. Center Street with a show titled From the Ashes.

The next First Thursday event on the square is set for June 7, and will have an ‘Altitude’ theme.
