Last time we checked in, JBGB had announced five shows in their free summer concert series for 2018. They’ve been busy since then.

The series, which began last week with Stoney LaRue, has grown to include around 15 more shows, scheduled each Thursday through the summer months.

Louisiana rockers Better Than Ezra (May 10), Memphis country/rock band Lucero (May 17), country band Locash (May 24), and country artist Frankie Ballard (May 31) round up the rest of this months shows.

After that, the series will continue with some frequent visitors to town, including Eli Young Band (June 7), Josh Abbot Band (June 14), and Randy Rogers Band (June 21), followed by Devin Dawson & Muscadine Bloodline (June 28), Houndmouth (July 5), Casey Donahew (July 12), Langhorn Slim & The Lost at Last Band (July 19), Koe Wetzel (July 26), William Clark Green (Aug. 2), Drake White & The Big Fire (Aug. 9), and Whiskey Myers (Aug. 23).

It sounds like at least one more artist will be added on Aug. 16.

The concert series shows are all held on Thursday nights, and all of them are free to attend. Admission will be on a first-come, first served basis. Doors to each of the shows will open at around 3 p.m., and it looks like showtime will be around 7 p.m. for most shows.

There are also some VIP tickets available. Information on those, as well as a bit more info about the concert series is available at thejbgb.com.
