The 2018 NWA Pride Parade will take place on Saturday, June 16 in downtown Fayetteville, organizers announced this week.

In addition to the parade, this year’s event will include a festival in downtown Fayetteville including live music stages, vendors, and other festivities along School Street, and in the lot behind Shulertown, just off Dickson Street. Festivities associated with NWA Pride will take place during the week of June 13-17, and the festival will follow the parade on the 16th.

The event, organized annually by Northwest Arkansas Equality, Inc., is currently seeking groups to participate in the parade, vendors, and sponsors. The deadline for applications is June 1.

A full list of festivities associated with the event, including the festival lineup, will be released as the event gets a bit closer.
