Election results: 2018 Washington County primary and non-partisan judicial candidates

Turnout was low for the 2018 preferential primary and non-partisan judicial elections held in Washington County on Tuesday.

Out of 128,000 registered voters, only 17,834 votes were cast in the election. With 100 percent of precincts reporting, and only some provisional/overseas ballots left to count, the unofficial results were announced just after 9:30 p.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.

A total of 7,351 ballots were cast in the Democratic primary, and 10,284 ballots were cast for the Republican ticket. A total of 199 non-partisan only ballots were cast.
