Friday, May 25

The Artist’s Laboratory Theatre will perform their new play about housing insecurity titled Shelter this weekend near Walker Park. The show takes place primarily on a regional transit bus traveling through South Fayetteville, which sounds really awesome. Here’s a bit more info about the show.

It’s also the final weekend to check out TheatreSquared’s comedy, The Hound of the Baskervilles. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’d better grab some tickets, pronto.

Music-wise, locals Rozenbridge will perform at Kingfish, country artist Justin Driggers is at George’s, and Smoke & Barrel has a three band bill with Sad Palomino, The Phlegms, and Moutan.

Step one. Farmers’ Market.

Local band Boom Kinetic is back in action for a show at George’s Saturday night. They usually pack the place.

Also in music (and more), monthly variety show Last Saturday is back this weekend at American Legion, with performances by The Lark & The Loon, Caleb Ryan Martin, Elephantom, and Chase Chamberlain.

Wanna hear some people get roasted? The NWA Roast Battle League featuring local comedians crapping all over each other (in a spirited, good natured kind of way) is back at Stage 18 Saturday night. Here’s a bit more info.

There’s plenty more below. Click around down there for details. Have an awesome weekend, everyone.
