The annual Gulley Park Summer Concert series kicks off Thursday (May 31) with local New Orleans-influenced funk band Crescent City Combo.
The family-friendly concerts take place on the lawn near the park gazebo on alternating Thursdays from 7-9 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are usually set up near the stage.
The city’s Planning Division is seeking resident input for City Plan 2040 and will be set up from 5:30-7 p.m. this Thursday. Just look for the city tent.
