One of Fayetteville’s favorite bands is coming back to town for a show next month.
Legendary (around here, anyway) Springfield, MO band Big Smith recently announced plans to play a handful of reunion shows around the region, and one of them will take place back at their old stomping grounds at George’s Majestic Lounge July 21.
It’ll be the band’s first appearance at George’s in about six years, but they played some epic shows at the venue (and before that, at Chester’s Place on Dickson) back at the day. They were so popular in Fayetteville, in fact, they even once played along with the Razorback marching band on-field at halftime of a Razorback football game.
Locals Opal Agafia & The Sweet Nothing’s will open the show.
