Police are investigating a fatality accident involving a scooter in south Fayetteville.
The crash occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5.

Police said Michael Turner, 26, of Fayetteville, was traveling north on South School Avenue near 9th Street when he lost control of the scooter, left the roadway, and collided with a concrete barrier. Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger was also on the scooter and was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
According to police, neither person was wearing a helmet.
The investigation is continuing.
