There’s a music and mountain sports festival happening in Fayetteville this weekend. The Homegrown Festival has moved from the Mulberry to Fayetteville this year, and it’ll kick off at Kessler Regional Park on Friday night. The fun starts at 4:30 p.m. with Alaina Blake & Dylan Hawf, followed by Jon Stickley Trio, and Arkansauce. It’s free to attend, too.

There’s a huge show at the AMP on Friday night as well with country stars Chris Stapleton, Marty Stuart, and Brent Cobb. It’s totally sold out, so hope you got your tickets already.

Also on Friday night, KUAF’s Summer Night Swing is taking place at Fayetteville Public Library. The event will celebrate the station’s longrunning programs, Shades of Jazz and The Pickin’ Post with an evening of live music. Performers include jazz musicians Claudia Burson, Ben Harris, Garrett Jones, Austin Farnam, Darren Novotny and Matt Beach, and folk musicians Ed Nicholson, Ed Carr, Tony Rupp, Emily Kaitz, Steve Fisher, and Ezra Idlet and Keith Grimwood of Trout Fishing in America. Here’s more info.
