Fayetteville Roots Festival offers ‘culinary pass’ for 2018 festival

A few weeks ago, we posted about the lineup of incredible chefs coming to this year’s Fayetteville Roots Festival.

Now, you can purchase a ticket to get yourself a sampling of a lot of that delicious food.

Fayetteville Roots Festival organizers this week announced their first ever Culinary Pass is now on sale. The pass includes tickets to four events; Wednesday night’s Roots @ The Record in Bentonville, Thursday’s VIP Party and Grand Tasting at Pratt Place Inn, Saturday’s Roots, Food & Spirits event also at Pratt Place, and the Sunday TriCycle Farm Jamboree in Fayetteville.

The pass is $199, and includes chef-driven tasting stations at each event.

Chefs include Chef Merlin Verrier, Chef Digby Stridiron, Chef Anton Abrezov, Chef Jason Paul, Chef Casey Copeland, Chef Justus Moll, Chef Matthew Cooper, Chef Shaun O’Neale, Chef Asha Gomez, Chef William Lyle, and several others.

It’s the still the Fayetteville Roots Festival, however, and the events won’t be without music. Roots at the Record will include performances by Mavis Staples and Booker T Washington, the Thursday night party includes music by Del McCoury Band, Flaco Jimenez, and Charlie Hunter, and Sunday’s event include music by The Wild Rivers and Adam Cox.
