A 14-year-old Dickson Street watering hole is currently on the market.
Stir, the college bar located at 422 W. Dickson Street is being marketed for sale by business brokerage The McLain Group, according to the NWA Business Journal.
A project manager from the company told the business journal that owner Dave Bass “wants to divest of the Stir business to focus on other ventures.”
An online listing for a business matching Stir’s description claims gross revenues at $386,000, and the business is listed for sale for $395,000. The listing does not include the building, which county records indicate is owned by Donk & Bubs LLC, a company registered by Bass. According to the listing, the price for the business will go up on July 15.
The price includes bar furniture, a sound system, POS stations, etc.
Stir opened in 2004 in the space formerly home to local music venue, Chester’s Place. The bar is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.
