Chicago-based rock band The Empty Pockets will play a free show in Fayetteville this week.

The band, known for their “polished yet rootsy” blend of Americana, blues, and soul, is set to perform at this week’s Gulley Park Concert Series show on Thursday, June 28.

It’s the third free Gulley Park Concert Series show of the season. The family-friendly concerts take place on the lawn near the park gazebo on alternating Thursdays from 7-9 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are usually set up near the stage.
